Wednesday morning at Ocean Beach had a fading but still fun SW swell running from 200–210 with 15–16 second intervals, mixed with a diminishing NW windswell at 310 with 9-10 second intervals. During the 0900-1030 (9:00-10:30 AM) window, the tide was on a strong rising push off a -0.5-foot minus low at 0517 (5:17 AM), climbing toward the 3.85-foot high at 1146 (11:46 AM) - the sandbars were filling in nicely as the session went on, and that post-minus tide incoming energy had the peaks firing. Winds were light and variable in the morning, keeping the surface clean before the afternoon W/SW onshores built in. Air temps around 70F, water temp around 66F - spring suit weather.
Not the biggest day, but a clean morning session with that long-period SW energy keeping things fun. OB does what OB does - keeps the peaks coming.
